Jennifer Cambridge sat tall upon her horse, General. Her eyes peered around, looking to see if anyone lingered. Since she'd moved here, she hadn't met anyone. The only someone she knew was General and her other horse. She gently nudged General in the side with her heels and asked for a brisk trot. General went on. His giant hooves clip-clopping against the pebbled path.
Jennifer made General pick up speed. He was now galloping. Jennifer only galloped him for a few minutes before pausing and dismounting. She took the lead rope she had placed around General's neck and clipped it to his bit. She walked him towards a fence post, and tied him up. She began to walk a little ways away from where she left General. She knew he wouldn't try to escape.
She sat under a sycamore tree and pulled out her journal. She wrote of her day. Dear Journal, Today is my first day here. It isn't all that interesting. Maybe I just haven't found the fun spots. I haven't met anyone. General seems to be getting along just fine. I want to meet some people though. Somebody I can actually hang out with. General is fun to ride, but I can't take him out to go get coffee. I also want to try and get a boyfriend. Ever since Jake and I broke up six months ago, it seems I don't attract anyone. Oh well. For now, I'll have to deal. Bye.
She closed it and shoved the pen down the spiral binding of the journal. She began walking back to where she tied General up. She soon met with him and untied the lead. She didn't unhook it. She just took it and hung it around his neck, and nudged him in the side again. This time, they took a slow walk. Jennifer had to think of what to do next.

**Haha not too much muse for Human RP, but I couldn't resist replying to this.** Ty & Lyric Ty Borden walked his mare, Lyric, to the begninning of the trails, giving her a pat as they reached it. Checking the girth, he then gathered the reins before mounting onto the mare's tall back. "Let's go." Ty nudged her on, and the spirited mare gave a toss of her head, before her slender legs picked up her hooves in a graceful way. The mare's chestnut coat gleamed brightly in the calming winter sun rays. Soon enough, Ty heard a familiar barking behind him, and he could see Jet, his German Shepherd, running behind Lyric. He gave a laugh, then whistled to him, not wanting him to stray too far. "Jet!" He called when the dog didn't come, and he nudged Lyric into a trot, then a canter, following the large dog among the trees. Lyric was clearly happy with the chance to stretch her legs, and oblivious to the chasing of Jet. As they rounded the corner, Ty pulled up on Lyric's reins, seeing a girl sitting against a tree. Jet ran over to the girl, nudging her hands, almost climbing into her lap, clearly wanting to meet the unfamiliar girl. "Sorry!" Ty said, quickly dismounting from Lyric, and grabbing ahold of Jet's collar. "He really means no harm... sometimes, he forgets how big he is." He gave a small chuckle, reaching to Lyric's saddle bag to get the dogs leash. Clipping it onto the collar, he looked back up, his dark brown hair falling into his eyes. "I'm Ty... Ty Borden." He said to her, holding out his hand to shake hers.

I heard the barking of a dog, and before I knew it, there lie a dog nudging my hand, begging for attention. I smiled, and patted him on the head. No sooner upon doing that did I hear the sweet, kind voice of a male. I glanced up at him. I stood up, wiped my hands, and shook his. He was cute. Ty. I liked that name.
" Hey there. My name is Jennifer...Jennifer Cambridge."
I kindly greeted him. I smiled at him. His fluffy brown hair blew in the cool breeze that fluttered through the trees. His horse was beautiful as well. I glanced at General, who was grazing quietly on the lush grass that decorated the sides of the path.
" What's your horse's name? Thats my horse, General."
I pointed to him. I nickered to him softly and pulled out an apple and oat treat and held it infront of him. He took it from me and crunched it up. I smiled and faced Ty again. He was so handsome. But I saw Jake in his eyes. He and Jake looked such alike.
" How old are you?"
I really needed to quit asking so many questions. I always did that when I was nervous. But I couldn't help it. I just kept my mouth shut and waited for his replies.

Hey there. My name is Jennifer...Jennifer Cambridge Ty listened to her voice as he patted Lyric's neck, while still holding onto Jet. Giving a smile, he glanced at her dark bay stallion, then looked back to her as she started to speak again. What's your horse's name? Thats my horse, General. Pride lit Ty's eyes as soon as she asked him about his horse. She stood loyaly by his side, butting his arm with her nose.
"This is Lyric. General looks amazing to ride."
He smiled as he gave her a complement, holding back Lyric from her curiousity of General.
"And that, is Jet."
Ty pointed at the German Shepherd, who he had now let go and was bounding through the snow that was slowly clearing up. How old are you? He heard her ask, his dark eyes looking into hers.
"Eighteen. And yourself?"
He asked her, noticing that the girl looked about his age. Ty couldn't help but noticing how pretty she was, so he turned his attention to Lyric for a moment so it didn't seem too obvious. It didn't bother him that she asked him questions. Looking back up, he awaited her reply.

I once again listened to his sweet voice. He was eighteen. I liked that. Being the fact that I was only nineteen myself. I smiled at him. Lyric was a beautiful name. I blushed a bit as he mentioned how fun General looked. I nodded my head and looked at his dog. Jet was a familiar name. Had been the name of a lesson horse I rode when I was younger.
" Nice names. Jet is cute just like you....you know how Lyric is."
I smiled. I almost told him I thought he was cute. I noticed he quickly looked at Lyric. I smiled. I figured he thought I was pretty or something. Or he could've been making fun of me secretly. But he seemed too sincere. I smiled at him widely.
" I am nineteen. So, would you like to go for a ride with me? You and Lyric, of course Jet, are welcome to join General and I."
I spoke gently to him. I mounted General's back and pushed my feet into the stirrups. I smiled at him and reached into my pocket and pulled out a dog buscuit and threw it to Jet. I leaned over and handed an apple treat to Lyric, waiting for her to take it. I looked over at Ty. I hoped we could somehow become more.

**sorry i'm going to change my writing style a bit on ya**
I slackened my hold on the reins so that Lyric could reach a small bit of grass that poked through the snow. Nice names. Jet is cute just like you....you know how Lyric is. I heard her say, and I looked up suddenly, running the words back through my head. Okay, so she didn't say what I thought she said. But I was sure it sounded like something else. Giving Lyric a pat, I looked up and smiled trying to cover up my surprise. I am nineteen. So, would you like to go for a ride with me? You and Lyric, of course Jet, are welcome to join General and I. Her voice sounded in my ears, and I have a definite nod.
"That sounds good."
I mounted Lyric, then let her eat the apple treat from Jennifer's hand. Giving a smile, I watched as Jet crunched the biscuit that was thrown to him.
"Lets go."
I grinned, giving Lyric a squeeze in the sides, getting her to move on. When she did, he settled into a easy walk, looking back, waiting for Jennifer to come after him.

I heard his sweet voice, and gently nudged General in the sides and walked on to meet Ty and Lyrics, side to side. He was so handsome. I was caught in a trance by his beautiful eyes. I soon turned myself back to reality. General was very eager to canter, but I held him back.
" So Ty...where is your girlfriend? I mean someone as..."
I cut myself off there. I didnt need to give away that I though he was the most handsome guy I'd ever laid eyes on. But I think I would soon enough. I turned my head away and blushed. I smiled widely and then returned my focus on the path ahead.
I really wasnt sure if I wanted to go with Ty so soon. And anyway, who could guarentee that he liked me back? And if he even wanted to go out with me? Or if he had a girlfriend already? I wasnt quite sure I was ready for a serious relationship. After what happened with Jake, I didnt think I could ever love again. But maybe I could. Afterall, Ty was working on me very quickly.

Lyric threw up her head in excitement as the other horse joined her side. She quickened her pace a bit, but I held her back, talking softly to her. She could get carried away, and could be difficult to handle, but I had a good relationship with her, and I loved her to death. So Ty...where is your girlfriend? I mean someone as... I heard Jennifer say, and looked at her, while I held back Lyric. I gave her a reasurring smile, knowing that she was a little embarrassed.
"Don't have one."
I told her, a grin on my face. In a effort to make it seem like nothing had happened, I pushed Lyric into a trot, then a canter, looking back to see if Jennifer was coming after me. Turning Lyric in a circle, I gestured to her to come. I knew that the horses were eager to run, and I didn't want her to feel embarrassed.

I watched as Ty tried to hold Lyric back. I nudged General in the sides and asked for a brisk canter. I smiled and swayed my hips back and forth with the movement of his stride. I looked over at Ty. I heard him say he didnt have a girlfriend. I smiled in my head at that thought. That meant I had a chance with him.
" Oh. Well I dont have a boyfriend. Me and my ex broke up six months ago. Before I moved here. We were together for three years. Until I found out he was cheating on me."
I felt a slight sadness, but then returned to a relaxed look. I glanced over at Ty. He looked so perfect in everyway. I wanted to be with him, but I wasnt so sure he liked me back. I wanted him to be the first to ask. Not me. I just couldnt do that. It was really hard for me.
" So, maybe after we are done riding, we could...ya know, go somewhere. Out somewhere....but not like on a date."
I felt my cheeks become warm and I looked to the side so he couldnt notice. I then turned my attention back to the path ahead. I then glanced over at him. His fluffy brown hair was flowing everyway. I felt...great. Really great.

Pushing Lyric into a canter to catch up with her, and smiled as she looked over at me. Oh. Well I dont have a boyfriend. Me and my ex broke up six months ago. Before I moved here. We were together for three years. Until I found out he was cheating on me. That was something I hated. To be involved with someone, then to break the commitment and go off with someone else. Anger arose in me, even though I hardly knew Jennifer, I was already ready to fight for her. Slow down... I told myself, listening to the easy clatter of the horse's hooves.
"Oh, I'm sorry. That must have been hard."
I spoke in great sympathy for her, as my mind whirled with ways I could ask her to maybe go out some time. I didn't know if I was going too fast, or thinking ahead of myself. She might not even like me that way... I thought, looking down at my hands as I worked out my thoughts. Looking back up, I heard her begin to speak. So, maybe after we are done riding, we could...ya know, go somewhere. Out somewhere....but not like on a date. Turns out, I don't have to ask her. Giving a smile to settle her nervousness, I gave a nod.
"Sure. That sounds good. Why don't we go out for coffee at the cafe?"
I asked her, the wind blowing my hair into my dark brown eyes.

I listened to him. I smiled. I knew he felt bad for me. I actually felt wanted. It was a great feeling. He wanted to have coffee with me, now that...that was even better. I looked over and him, and then slowed to a walk. I couldn't canter General long, training season was coming up, and he didn't need to use all of his energy.
" Would you like to go now....after we cool our horses?"
I smiled widely at him. I forgot of all the past worries. No more Jake. I had Ty. Even if we werent going out yet, it felt like it could happen. I figured I would ask him after coffee, but it felt too soon. But then again, another girl could come around the corner and steal him away.
" Okay, General is cooled, I wait for you."
I walked General to the path that lead to town, and waited for Ty. I smiled and then looked at General. I gave him a treat for being a good boy. And patted his forehead.

Would you like to go now....after we cool our horses? I thought for a moment. Lyric could sure use a good run. She hadn't really broken into a sweat yet. And besides, she wasn't doing anything training today. Looking up with a grin, I spoke in a soft voice.
"Yeah, that sounds good. I hope you don't mind, but Lyric could use a run, I'll just go around the bend there."
I told her, giving Lyric a small nudge with my heels, and taking the hint, set off in a trot, her hooves making dull thudding noises as they landed with each step upon the earth. Soon I had her in a gallop, slowing down to round the corner. I knew that she was happy to be able and stretch her legs, and I had to admit, it felt good to feel the wind in my face. Coming back to Jennifer, I gave her a special smile, then dismounted, giving Lyric a pat on her shoulder. Okay, General is cooled, I wait for you. Nodding, I walked Lyric in a couple circles, and loosened the girth.
Taking a cloth out from my saddle bag, I wiped down her gleaming chestnut coat, focusing on her chest and flanks which had most of the sweat. Once I was sure that she was comfortable, and cool, I fed her a treat, then walked her after Jennifer. Stopping for a moment, I turned and looked around.
"Jet!"
I called, then saw the German Shepherd bounding out from the woods, his toungue hanging from his mouth. Giving a short laugh, I patted him as he rubbed against my legs for attention, then let him run ahead in the direction to town.
"All set?"
I asked Jennifer, coming up beside her with Lyric.
**Do you mind making the thread in the Cafe? I don't have time right now, or enough muse to start one lol.**
