A tanned head looked around. Piercing blue eyes searched every bush for anything that could spook her horse or Sheba, her adorable puppy.
Ellie gazed around the clearing. A whimper came from her feet, and she looked down to see Sheba, her small puppy. The puppy was about to collapse from utter exhaustion. Ellie sighed. Sheba was getting heavy, but he was still small enough to sit in front of her when riding Alida. How would Sheba get anywhere if he was to exhausted to go and not on Alida's back? Sighing once more, Ellie bent down to pick him up.
Ellie looked around, suddenly feeling as if she was being watched. That was strange - she hadn't seen a gorgio for a long time, and there certainly wasn't any gypsies around her! That was the one strange fact about her: She was a gypsy. Oh, besides the fact she was Italian. But anyone could see that just from how she used her hands when she spoke, and her accent. Nobody else had that accent after all - they all just had that ugly American accent!
It had been hard, the last few years of her life. She had - like every other fifteen year old - been wedded off at an early age. Her husband had moved to America, and there he joined the gorgios. Ellie had left him, of course - she couldn't stand gorgios. She knew it was against Romani law to do that, but what choice did she have? It was break one law or the other, both as serious as the other. She had chosen to leave. Just as many would.
Ellie mounted Alida, feeling rather sagged down in memories. She hated memories - as far she was concerned, all memories from the last four years were her mortal enemies. Before that, her life had not been bad. The Finches were traditional horse trainers, so she had always had a horse. She almost had to give Alida up when she got wedded off, but she had flat-out refused to go with him if she hadn't had Alida. Good thing they relented, she thought, sighing again.

Crystal waved goodbye as she Delia finished unloading Ebony Moon. She led the black gelding out of the trailer. and began putting the tack onto him. It would be the first time Crystal left her here with him, becasue supposedly she had somwhere else she needed to be. But, on the bright side, most people here didn't seem as bad about her Mexican heritage, though she had only met a few. It was evident what she was, what with her skin color and her deep black hair..She led Ebony Moonlight over to a better spot, and mounted. Whistling to the bounding pup nearby. Renga eagerly followed the horse, her big blue eyes, and shiney huskey coat perfect for the winter weather. Ebony Moon was eager to go, but Delia kept him back, more for Renga's benefit than anything. For some reason, the gelding was determined to work, work work.. He was always trying to work in one way or another, and if Delia didn't take him on trail rides every day,he would get uncontrolable. If he was worked ofte, he was a gentleman though. Today he was a little hyper, because Delia had not gotten him out yesterday. Rubbing her hand along his neck as they headed down the trail, she kept her eyes on teh terrain in front of her. Renga started barking, and Delia looked up to see another horse and rider. Sighing too low for anyone to hear, she knew there was no chance of going un noticed. Especially since Ebony Moon bounded forward at a trot, nickering eager to the other horse. Delia pulled gently on his reins, and got him to slow down to a walk as they pulled up beside them." Sorry.." She told the girl very shyly, barely above a whisper. her accent was evident though, even in her whispers it was thick, revealing much of her life was spent deep in Mexico.

Ellie's blond fringe - a strange color for Italians and romani alike - fell over her blue eyes. Strange was the word for her looks. She looked pure German, when she had not a drop of it in her blood. Well, at least, I hope not, she thought. She felt Alida eagerly pulling away from her firm grip, eager to go elsewhere, or to another horse nearby. Ellie heard a barking coming from behind her, then a nicker.
Ellie's head whipped around to see another gorgio, riding. Didn't know they cared enough for animals to mount a horse... she thought. Her gaze searched the gorgio for anything that Fishface used to carry when he was intent on finding the Finch tribe. To Ellie's relief, there didn't seem to be. Mustn't be like Fishface, the constable back in Italy. Ellie's thoughts were whipped back to that day in Italy, near their camping ground near Tuscany. She remembered she and her cousins laughing and leading Fishface for a dance - oh, how she wished she could do that again, get Fishface lost and then disappear back to their dancing place. It had been about a month before her bothered them again.
"Sorry.." She heard the girl say, and Ellie just restrained herself from putting her hand around her hear to help her hear her better. The gorgio's voice gave away she wasn't an American. Ellie strained to remember the words from the English language she knew. When she talked to herself or Alida, it was normally in Italian. She knew quite a bit of the English language - she had had to learn when she moved to America with her "husband", and had needed to use it when she tried to ask gorgios for anyway other than plane back to Italy. Unfortunately, there had not, except boat. She would die before she got on a boat or another plane to get back to Italy, as much as she wanted to.
Bon... Sorry, hello.

Delia smiled shyly, as she tugged on the reins to keep Ebony Moon from going any closer to the other mare. Her smiled flickered broader as she heard the girl almost reply in another language, though she wasn't sure what it was."It's Okay.. Hello.." She told her, still keeping her voice low. She couldn't bring her voice any higher, no matter how hard she tried.. Once she grew to know someone, it was different.. But she had had so many people betray her.. She pointed a finger to herself, "I am Delia." She souned out carefully, before pointing to the horse underneath her." This is Ebony Moon." Her voice was heavy with her accent, as usual. She had been in the US for about a year now, and it had only showed her a few of it's wonderful things. If it wasn't for Crystal, Delia would have left a long time ago. At Ebony Moon's feet a black and white HUsky puppy ambled along, wagging her tail and clearly enjoying the outdoors.

((Sorry for late reply! And sorry if this is short! No muse today. )) Ellie nodded in acknowledgment of the other girl's - Deila's - words. She sighed, still deep in thought. No matter how hard she wished, when she woke up, she was always in The United States of America. Ellie's blue eyes were sad, not glowing with her usual gypsy fire. She could hear her voice think with accent, and the Delia's too. She blinked, wondering slightly why Delia had such a low voice. Sheba's black body was a flurry of excitement, being so near another puppy again. He bounded over to the husky puppy, yapping with excitement, only to be called back by Ellie. His tail stopped wagging as he walked back to his owner. His big brown eyes looked up at his owner, wondering why she had called him back from the other puppy. If he could have talked, Ellie bet he would say "that's not fair!" I'm Ellie, this is Alida, and this adorable puppy is Sheba.Ellie replied. She always introduced her animals along with herself. Always. Ellie's voice was thick with her Italian accent, and she pointed to Alida and Sheba in turn as she introduced them. Ellie flicked some of her tick blond hair over her shoulder.

Delia nodded shyly, and pointed to Renga, who was eagerly bounding after the other puppy."Renga." She told her, and the puppy turned and eagerly headed back to Delia, staring up at her with those big puppy dog eyes. Delia grinned despite herself, and gestured towardthe other pup, and then Renga."Renga and Sheba can play if it's Okay." She told Ellie, trying vaguely to help the gril understand what she meant. Renga had no puppies to play with at home, and she was quite a loving puppy. Delia played with her constantly, Teaching the puppy mounds of tricks to keep her occupied. It only worked for so long though, and then she got determined she was going for a run, which resulted in Delia chasing her, laughing all the way. She never left the property, only when following Delia. "Nice meeting you." Delia told her, struggling to make her voice a little louder. She knew she was going to have to speak louder if she planned on going to school in a few months, so she might as well practice now.. OOC: it's okay, I am short on Muse too^^
