Registered Name: Indys Brindle
Nickname: Indy
Age: 8
Breed: Greyhound
Color: Red brindle
Gender: female
Neutered/Spayed: no
Status: She's skinny and beaten up by the litters they made her produce, although she's a sweet dog and loves attention she never got any from her last home and usually if they raced the dogs they were kept in boxes only seeing their own kind for a race. She's a little shy around strangers and won't let you near her if she doesn't know you. She is deathly afraid of tall large men and will attack if she sees them. Not reconmended as a family dog with children under 10 years of age.
History:Indy as finally been retired from her full life as a racing greyhound then as a breeding dog at a large facility. She won many titles over the years of her racing time, but then she broke down unwilling to run anymore to tired and mistreated for her to run again. Her owners realised they wouldn't be able to make their wonder dog run again and used her as a breeding female instead in a early retirement from the racing part of the scene. When she had her first litter they were all healthy and were trained to run but just after two of the pups second year of getting ready to run they wouldn't run as well. Though the other 3 other puppies in the litter ran fine them too after only 6 years of racing broke down and wouldn't run. This made the owners of Indy angry and they sent her off to an auction but lucky for her she was bought by one of the staff of the animal shelter and is now here.
